Red Nose Day And Snaps Raise Money For Kids In Need
Mobile messaging is a powerful channel for driving awareness for causes and raising money for charities. For this reason, Snaps has teamed up with Red Nose Day to help bring awareness and raise money for children in need both in the USA and around the world. Red Nose Day is on a mission to lift kids out of poverty and has raised over $1 billion globally in the last 25 years.
The program with Snaps includes special Red Nose Day stickers that Snaps helped design. These stickers are available across the Snaps Partner Network on platforms including Kik, Viber, Paltalk, Kika, and Mood (By Typography) to help promote the cause – with all donations going directly back to Red Nose Day.
Red Nose Day sees mobile messaging as an important channel to extend awareness and engagement for its cause among teens and millennials. These young audiences use mobile messaging as their primary form of communication – using emojis and stickers as part of their daily messaging lexicon. The stickers created for Red Nose Day offer both social currency for this demographic and a great way to raise money for a terrific cause.
The sticker content includes a slew of animated people, animals and phrases all including the signature red nose all of which are currently available through Snaps’ messaging partners.
Fans are able to share the content and raise awareness for this important cause leading up to and duringthe live Red Nose Day Special on NBC on Thursday, May 26th at 9/8c.
